Construction crews are making good progress at the site of the new Pacific Middle School.
School Construction
We built the school projects you approved in the 2016 bond to support more of our students with modern learning environments. With approval of the 2022 bond, we are rebuilding three more aging schools and making critical repairs and capital improvements districtwide. Thank you for investing in building and maintaining our schools. We invite you to stay informed by following our progress from planning to construction.
Our capital planning & construction team guides our major building projects from start to finish. This team manages architects, contractors and consultants to bring to life voter-approved school replacements and remodels, and to deliver on critical needs like security technology and athletic field upgrades. Their dedication ensures our new schools meet district standards and offer spaces that foster innovative learning and a culture of belonging for our students.

Highline’s community-led Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC) reviewed and discussed conceptual site layouts and preliminary costs estimates for seven aging school sites at its October meeting.
