Responsive Services
At Highline, student safety and well-being are our top priorities.
Our team is here to support students and families during challenging times by offering care, guidance, and access to helpful resources. We collaborate closely with other district departments, community organizations, and mental health professionals to ensure every student feels safe and supported.
Some of the ways we help schools include conducting Threat Assessments, responding to crises, and working with Child Protective Services when necessary. These services are designed to address urgent concerns and provide ongoing support, all while following evidence-based practices, meeting state requirements, and honoring culturally responsive approaches.
